Secret Key – Fresh Nature Toner Review

I first heard about Secret Key – Fresh Nature Toner from reviews done by beauty YouTubers some months back and was referred to Yesstyle. I got myself two of the toners with is the Witch Hazel Pore Clear Toner and Milk Brightening Toner, I bought them for £21.51 on the YesStyle website. there is a possibility to get it for a lower price when there is a discount off or sales. These toners are generally good for sensitive skin, it helps soften rough skin while keeping the skin moisturized, hydrate and soothe irritated skin. It has a pleasant scent and affordable.

About the brand: Launched in 2006 by Zenpia, Korean skincare brand Secret Key combines nature, beauty and skin sciences for its comprehensive product lines. The brand offers a complete skincare routine for specific concerns such as pore care, brightening, and whitening, skin repair, and lifting, sensitivity and hydration, as well as makeup, hair and body care products.

How to Use:

  • After cleansing, dispense a proper amount of toner onto a cotton pad or into your hand and gently wipe toner on your face.
  • If applied with hand, pat gently for absorption.

Witch Hazel Pore Clear Toner: I finished using this particular one first because it worked really well for my skin and love the result I get from it. It does not dry up my skin, instead, it adds more moisture to it. I usually use the toner before my clay mask, It opens up my unclog pores, helps with sebum control. I then pour a little on my hand to dab my face after washing off my mask to hydrate my skin.

Ingredients: Witch Hazel Extract, Aloe Vera extract, snail mucus extract, mulberry root extract, hollyhock extracts among others…

Recommendation: Highly recommended for both oily to combination skin. I had a little bit of rough skin on my cheek and it helps sooth and smoothing it out. I saw results just after two weeks of using it.

Milk Brightening Toner: I just started using this particular one because I was so obsessed with the witch hazel toner, I ended up using the milk brightening one once in a while. It sure helps to brighten my skin and gives you the glow you want, but I had to use it for a while before I started seeing the result. If you can wait, It is a very good toner in general. If you want a fast result, I will not recommend this. Though It worked slowly on my skin, it might actually work fast for you. You will have to try to know. We all have a different type of skin.

This toner is also good for exfoliating and removing remaining impurities from your skin after using your cleanser.

Ingredients: Carrot Extract, Potato Extract, Pumpkin Extract, Rice Extract, Broccoli Extract, Raspberry Extract, Usnea Extract, pasque flower extract, Pomegranate Extract and lots more.

General Recommendation: These toners are highly recommended. It is an alcohol-free product and good for sensitive skin. They both give you the outcome you want after using. Free from parabens, mineral oils, benzophenone, and animal oil.

Skin type: Combination, oily t-zone, tendency to dry in summer.

Concerns: Dullness, Rough, Anti-aging, hyperpigmentation.
