Don’t forget to treat yourself after a busy day

After a stressful day at work, I decided to walk in the city center to give myself a treat. I have craved for chocolate for more than a week. I have not been able to get myself one because of my busy schedule. All I could think of was anything that as to do with chocolate for a whole week; Chocolate cake, hot chocolate, chocolate sweet, chocolate cookie, chocolate ice cream, you name it. Though I was tired from work, I felt it was about time I treat myself to anything that has to do with chocolate.

I walked into patisserie Valerie because they sell yummy cakes and I have been wanting to try more of their varieties in their cafe. It was really hard to choose from the different yummy goodies displaced in their show glass. I finally decided on the black forest chocolate sponge layers with whipped cream, cherries. Please note: This gateau slice is not suitable for vegetarians. The cake tastes amazing and soft, it melts right in my mouth. It is not too sweet which is right for my taste. The final taste of chocolate gave me fulfillment. I loved it and was so tempted to ask for more.

Below is the picture of other types of cakes, you can also ask the staffs about the ingredient so you can know what is it you are eating.

I went back home feeling to have accomplished something. One down from my to-do list. Hahaha.

Have you ever crave for a particular food? If yes comment below.

My dearies, don’t forget to treat yourself once in a while. Life is too short not to enjoy yourself when you have to.
